டெல்லி TALKOTARA உள் விளையாட்டு அரங்கில் 01.12.2025 நடைபெற்ற தேசிய அளவிலான கராத்தே போட்டி — இந்தியாவின் பல மாநிலங்களைச் சேர்ந்த 2000-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட மாணவர்கள் கூடி இருந்த திருவிழாக்கூட்டம் போலவே தோன்றியது. அந்த ஆயிரக்கணக்கான போட்டியாளர்களில் இருந்து, ஒரு சிறிய வயதில் பெரும் வீரத் தன்மையை வெளிப்படுத்திய ஒரே ஒரு பெயர் மட்டும் மின்னியது… திருச்சி மாணவி பி. லக்ஷனா!

11 வயதும், 45 கிலோ எடைபிரிவும் (குமித்தே) என்ற பிரிவில் பங்கேற்ற லக்ஷனா, பல்வேறு மாநிலங்களைச் சேர்ந்த திறமையான போட்டியாளர்களை ஒவ்வொன்றாக வீழ்த்தி, இறுதியில் இந்திய அளவிலான தங்கப் பதக்கத்தை தனது வீரத்தால் வென்று எடுத்துள்ளார்.

அரங்கில் இருந்த பார்வையாளர்கள், நடுவர்கள், பயிற்சியாளர்கள் — யாராக இருந்தாலும், லக்ஷனாவின் தரமான கிக்குகள், வேகமான நடைகள், கட்டுப்பாட்டான தொழில்நுட்பம் ஆகியவற்றைக் கண்டு ஒரு கணம் நின்று பாராட்ட வேண்டிய சூழல் ஏற்பட்டது. 11 வயதிலேயே அந்த அளவிலான தைரியம், செறிவு, கவனம் — இது சாதாரண விஷயம் அல்ல.

Just 11 years old and competing in the 45 kg Kumite category, Lakshana fought her way to the top with a level of focus, confidence, and technique far beyond her age.
